The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, proposed in today’s executive meeting to allocate €200,000 for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which recently faced devastating consequences from flooding.
Donika Gërvalla stated that she could prepare an official request for this.
“In fact, I wanted to address you with a matter slightly outside the framework of this meeting with decisions and proposals to seek your opinion on a request that we will have as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for solidarity with Bosnia in a situation where… The extraordinary floods that have occurred have caused significant damage, so I would ask for your solidarity, our joint solidarity with an amount of €200,000. If there are no objections here, then Prime Minister, we will send you the official request as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so we can take such a step,” she said.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that this should be discussed in another meeting.
“Thank you, Deputy Prime Minister Gërvalla. We need to hold another online meeting for this, to prepare the decision, the materials, and then to approve it,” said Kurti.
