The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has urged all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, including members of the diaspora, who are planning or have planned to transit through Serbian territory, to avoid all entries and exits at the border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia.
This advisory comes in response to warnings from the so-called “Organizational Council for Blockades” in Serbia, which has announced plans for road blockades leading to border crossings with the Republic of Kosovo on September 6, 2024.
“The MFA&D calls on all citizens and members of the diaspora to carefully follow the developments and new alerts related to the situation and to obtain information only from official sources of the Republic of Kosovo’s institutions to avoid disinformation and false news,” the statement reads.
