Agron Ramadani was physically abused for about 30 minutes until he was beaten to death in June 1998, before he was put in cell number one in Pristina prison.

But the physical and mental ill-treatment, according to Ramadani, had lasted for almost the entire period that he was imprisoned under charges of terrorism, first in this prison, and then in the one in Lipjan.

Among those who had beaten him, the former chief of security of Adem Demaç, said that there was also Dragisha Millenkovic, whom the Special Prosecutor’s Office accuses of war crimes.

He was asked about the specific mistreatment he received from the accused.

The witness confessed before the jury that even the little food they had was shared with other prisoners.

With questions about the lack of food and mistreatment, he was also confronted by Dragisha Millenkovic.

Regarding the circumstances of Millenkovic’s identification and the possibility of confusion with another suspect, Ramadani, in addition to the defense, was also challenged with questions by the court.

The trial for Millenkovic, who is accused of mistreating and beating Albanian prisoners with electric cables during the war in Kosovo, will continue at the end of this month, writes atvlive.tv.

Ramadani, who was among them, said that he was arrested by the Serbian state security on the grounds that he was the founder of the KLA, and was sentenced to three years in prison for terrorism.

Among the victims in this case, who are expected to testify, are the mayor of Malisheva, Ekrem Kastrati, and deputy Isak Shabani, who was absent from this session.
