Multiple Parliamentary Committees of the Assembly of Kosovo Meet, with Numerous Draft Laws on the Agenda

Several meetings of parliamentary committees will be held today in the Assembly of Kosovo, with a total of nine committees scheduled to convene throughout the day.

The meetings begin at 09:30 and will continue until the evening.

The Committee on Health will open the day by reviewing the final report on the Draft Law on Mandatory Health Care Insurance. Meanwhile, the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora will hold a meeting with the Ambassador of Austria to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer.

In the field of security, the Committee on Security and Defense Affairs will examine draft laws on citizenship and explosive materials. At the same time, the Committee on Culture, Tourism and Sport will deal with several draft laws, including those related to the organization of the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030 and cultural heritage.

Another important development is expected in the Committee on Legislation, which will hold a public hearing on the draft law related to the verification and confiscation of unjustified assets.

During the day, the Committee on Environment and the Committee on Education will review draft laws concerning water resource management, social housing, and the state maturity exam. Meanwhile, the Committee on Economy will address temporary measures for essential products in the event of market instability.

In the evening, starting at 20:00, the Budget Committee will continue its meeting with a heavy agenda, reviewing a series of draft laws from a financial impact perspective, including those on water management, social housing, citizenship, payment services, and health insurance.
