None of the candidates running for positions as judges at the Constitutional Court have secured the necessary votes from the members of the Assembly of Kosovo to be proposed for appointment.

The announcement was made by the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, who stated that the competition process must be repeated. She called on the relevant commission to take the necessary steps to publish a new call for applications and invite nominations for two Constitutional Court judge positions.

According to the results from the fourth round of voting, the candidates received the following number of votes:

Emine Avdyli Pozhari – 60 votes
Jonida Xhafa – 62 votes
Flamur Mrasori – 51 votes

Since none of the candidates reached the required threshold, the selection process will be restarted in accordance with parliamentary procedures.
