The Special Prosecution of Kosovo has announced the arrest of a suspect allegedly involved in the terrorist attack in Banjska.
According to the statement, the individual, identified by the initials S.R., was detained on suspicion of committing serious criminal offenses, including acts related to national security and the constitutional order.
“The suspect was arrested by the Kosovo Police at the Merdare border crossing. By decision of the prosecutor, the individual has been detained for 48 hours,” the prosecution said.
Authorities have not yet disclosed further details, as investigations into the case are ongoing.
