In Kosovo, the National Day of Missing Persons from the last war is being celebrated today.
Various activities have been organized for this day by central and local institutions.
Meanwhile, the OSCE Mission in Kosovo has requested clarification of the fate of all the missing persons in Kosovo.
“On the day of Missing Persons in Kosovo, we call for renewed efforts to clarify the fate of all the disappeared. In particular, on this day, we stand with all those families who are waiting for the end of this process. Healing the wounds of the past will help build a peaceful future for all,” wrote the OSCE mission in Kosovo, ending the post with #NeverForget.
In Kosovo, there are more than 1,600 missing persons from the war that Serbia waged in Kosovo in 1998-’99.
