President Vjosa Osmani and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti will attend the funeral of Pope Francis in the Vatican, reports RKS News.
Osmani arrived in the Vatican yesterday, where she met with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office has announced that acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has also departed for Rome.
More than 200,000 people are attending the funeral of Pope Francis, along with over 170 world leaders who have traveled to pay their respects.
Pope Francis passed away on Monday, April 21, at the age of 88.
