The President of the country recalled the 1-year anniversary of the May 29 attacks on NATO soldiers in the north of the country.
Osmani said that as proven in videos and from investigations conducted by law enforcement agencies, 93 soldiers were injured, some with severe injuries, through attacks by organized crime groups, which according to her, were carried out with clear political orders from the regime of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the leaders of his gang.
“The perpetrators, who still roam free in Serbia and are protected by Vučić’s regime, must be held accountable!”
“Impunity has only encouraged them to repeat the attacks, as clearly demonstrated by the act of aggression on September 24 by Serbia,” said Osmani.
Furthermore, the head of state mentioned that the attack on September 29 was an attack on NATO, and according to her, impunity must end.
“We all owe it to the young soldiers who lost limbs and whose lives were changed forever, because they put their lives on the line for the peace and security of all citizens,” wrote Osmani.
