Marko Knezhevic, known by the nickname ‘Drug Crni’, from the vicinity of Belgrade, suspected of being a spy for the Serbian Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), was arrested by the police on Wednesday afternoon in the apartment where he has lived for several years, located on ‘Vlado Cetkovic’ street in northern Mitrovica.
Media sources from the north report that the suspect, during his stay in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, used false documentation of a deceased Serbian national from the village of Frashër (Svinjare) in Mitrovica.
According to these sources, in the apartment, his official ID proving he is a member of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), other MUP documents, and several laptops were found and confiscated.
The sources further added that the arrested individual is a close associate of the former director of BIA, Aleksandar Vulin.
In certain instances, he presented a journalist ID, through which he closely monitored certain situations and developments.
