The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has presented the “Goddess of the Capital” award to American diplomat Jonathan Moore. Rama said this was a gesture of appreciation for Moore’s contribution.

“Today, I had the honor of presenting former American diplomat Jonathan Moore with the ‘Goddess of the Capital,’ as a sign of our deep gratitude for his contribution and for the unwavering support of the United States of America to Kosovo,” Rama wrote.

The mayor emphasized that America has stood by Kosovo since its most difficult days.

“A symbol of respect and gratitude that our people feel for the United States, who stood by us — from the difficult days of the war, to the building of our institutions, and our path toward democracy and freedom,” Rama added.

Both pledged that the friendship with America will remain an eternal bond.

“We emphasized that the friendship with the United States is and will remain more than just a political partnership; it is an eternal bond built on trust and mutual commitment,” Rama wrote.
