The nationwide protest organized by organizations representing former members of the Kosovo Liberation War has ended in Prishtina.
At the conclusion of the protest, the organizers presented four main demands concerning developments surrounding the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
The first demand is the repeal or amendment of the Law on the Specialist Chambers.
As their second demand, the organizers called for the dismissal of Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla.
The third demand is unlimited support and sufficient funding for the defense of the former KLA leaders.
The fourth demand is the engagement of leading international experts in the defense of the former KLA leaders.
“The KLA is us, the KLA is the state of Kosovo, and we will not allow you to take away from us what we won with blood,” the organizers said at the conclusion of the protest.
