Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized Europe’s refusal to invite Russia to the Auschwitz liberation commemoration, claiming that Trump will restore order in Europe.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that U.S. President Donald Trump would “quickly restore order” and that European elites would soon “bow before their master” and “tuck their tails.”
“I assure you – Trump, with his character and persistence… He will quickly establish order there. And you will see, everyone will soon bow before their master and tuck their tails,” Putin said in an interview for the Telegram channel of journalist Pavel Zarubin, as reported by Tanjug.
Putin also criticized Europe’s refusal to invite Russia to the commemoration of the liberation of the Nazi Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, located in Poland.
“Europe Could Have Been More Subtle”
“Regarding the invitations or lack thereof for events related to the liberation of Auschwitz, this is, of course, such a strange, shameful act for those who did it,” Putin stated, according to RIA Novosti.
He mentioned that Europeans could have acted more subtly by inviting the liberators or their relatives to the anniversary.
“You can have any attitude towards Russia’s current politics, you can have any attitude towards the head of the Russian state, towards me. No one is asking for any invitation. But if you think about it, you could have acted much more subtly. If it’s no longer possible to invite the liberators of Auschwitz due to their health and age, at least their relatives could have been invited, and others who are related,” Putin added.
