Two individuals, including a police officer, were arrested early Saturday morning in Ranillug following a physical altercation. According to a 24-hour police report, the incident occurred around 02:20 AM when law enforcement units were alerted about two people suffering from injuries and seeking medical attention.
Upon arrival, authorities found that the individuals, one of whom is a member of the Kosovo Police (KP), had sustained injuries during a physical confrontation. Both men received medical treatment and were subsequently interviewed. Following the investigation, the prosecutor ordered their detention for further inquiries.
The Kosovo Police Inspectorate (KPI) was also informed and issued a criminal report against both suspects. The prosecutor imposed a 48-hour detention for the individuals involved, and KPI recommended that the police officer be suspended as part of the administrative procedures. Investigators will continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the altercation to ensure full clarity on the case.
