The leader of the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, Nenad Rashiq, believes that the new government will not be put to a vote during the constituent session scheduled for August 6, 2026.
According to Rashiq, who also serves as the acting Minister for Communities and Return, meetings and discussions on forming the new executive could begin after the completion of this process, including a possible meeting with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“We have not met yet, but I believe we will meet in the coming days because, as you know, tomorrow we only have the constitution of the Assembly. We will not enter into other negotiations or agreements. I expect that after tomorrow we will meet at some point and discuss possible engagement in the new government whenever it becomes possible,” Rashiq said.
He added that, in his personal view, there will be no vote on the formation of the new government tomorrow.
“As far as I know, there is no session tomorrow for the formation of the new government. My opinion is that the government will not be voted on tomorrow. This is my personal view,” Rashiq stated.
