A Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul on Thursday at the residence of the US Consul General for US-Russia talks.
These talks aim to resolve disagreements regarding the operations of their respective embassies in Washington and Moscow.
According to Reuters, the discussions will not include the topic of Ukraine.
Today’s meeting follows a phone call between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on February 12th and a high-level diplomatic meeting in Saudi Arabia on February 18th.
This diplomatic engagement marks another step in ongoing efforts to address bilateral relations amidst broader geopolitical tensions.
