A suspect from the Serbian community has been arrested in the 28 Nëntori neighbourhood of Fushë Kosovë after allegedly threatening residents that he would blow them up.

According to Klan Kosova, the arrest took place after the suspect refused to open the door of his apartment, forcing police to spend additional time gaining entry.

“He was arrested a few minutes ago, with some use of force, after refusing to open the apartment door. Police needed more time to get inside. Searches of his apartment are ongoing,” the report stated.

The suspect is alleged to have threatened residents by saying he would detonate an explosive device and destroy the entire neighbourhood.

Residents reportedly know the individual, claiming that he has caused problems in the past. According to their accounts, several months ago he threw glass bottles at residents and repeatedly insulted them.
