Seven Suspects Arrested in Connection with the Murder of Police Sergeant Muhamed Lika

In a press conference held Monday morning, Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha confirmed the arrest of seven individuals suspected of being involved in the planning and execution of police sergeant Muhamed Lika’s murder.

The police operation was launched in the early hours of the morning, targeting nine locations, most of them in Kaçanik and one in Klinë.

Seven suspects have been arrested who are believed to have participated in the planning and execution of our sergeant’s murder,” said Hoxha.

He further stated that all the suspects are currently being interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation into this high-profile case.

The murder of Sergeant Lika, which took place on April 1 at the entrance of his residential building, has drawn widespread attention and condemnation. Authorities have pledged to bring justice and uncover the full circumstances surrounding the crime.
