Several parliamentary committees will meet today at the Assembly of Kosovo to review draft legislation, financial reports and other matters within their respective areas of responsibility.
The Committee on European Integration will review the draft law amending and supplementing the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism. The meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m., the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality and Petitions will announce the vacancy for the position of Ombudsperson.
At the same time, the Committee on Oversight of Public Finances will review its work plan for the autumn session of 2026, while the Committee on the Rights and Interests of Communities and Returns will examine the draft law amending and supplementing the Law on Budget Appropriations for the 2026 Budget of the Republic of Kosovo.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee on Legislation, Mandates, Immunities, the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and Oversight of the Anti-Corruption Agency will establish a working group for the draft law on the State Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets.
Meanwhile, the Budget Committee will review RTK’s financial report for January–June 2026, as well as the public broadcaster’s expenditure programme for July–December 2026.
