The EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, has arrived at the Government of Kosovo to meet with the acting Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi.

Sorensen’s visit to Pristina comes amid an ongoing institutional deadlock, and there was no official announcement from the European Union regarding this visit.

The meeting began at 11:00 AM, but it remains unclear whether Sorensen will make any public statements to the media.

Before meeting with Bislimi, Sorensen visited KFOR headquarters, where he met with Commander Enrico Barduani.

The EU envoy last visited Pristina in March of this year, during which he held introductory meetings with Kosovo’s top leaders. Following his visit to Kosovo, he also traveled to Serbia.

Sorensen’s primary focus remains the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement.
