UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stated in Paris that the United Kingdom will do “everything it can” to help ease the impact of the conflict in Iran and ensure the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
He emphasized the need for an international coalition and a combined diplomatic, economic, and military approach to guarantee peace and secure maritime navigation.
The statement was made ahead of a meeting with Emmanuel Macron and representatives from around 40 countries, aimed at establishing a multilateral mission for security in the region.
