Former Head Inspector of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Burim Ramadani, has responded to the statements made by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.
Sveçla has denied Ramadani’s claims that he was shot at during a visit to Ujman in early July.
However, Ramadani has insisted that the shooting with an AK-47 occurred while Sveçla was on a boat with several police officers.
“I believe that fleeing from gunfire near the boat cannot be described as an act of bravery or glory,” Ramadani wrote, emphasizing that he did not fabricate this event as Minister Sveçla alleged.
“Nevertheless, I do not believe that I have ever fabricated anything in my life,” the former AKI head inspector further wrote.
