All five patients admitted to hospitals in Thessaloniki are in stable condition. Three individuals are admitted to Papanikolaou Hospital, and two other injured persons are in the Military Hospital, all with severe burns.
The injured were visited today by the Minister of Health Arben Taravari and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Timço Mucunski.
“Today, in the early hours of the morning, together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Timço Mucunski and Dr. Ilir Vela, we arrived in Thessaloniki to check the condition of the patients admitted here. We just left the ‘General Hospital G. Papanikolaou’ and the Military Hospital in Thessaloniki, and all five patients admitted to these hospitals are in stable condition! I thank our colleagues in Thessaloniki, the people, and the Greek government for their dedication and help! We will keep you informed about the other patients!” wrote Taravari on Facebook.
At least 59 people died as a result of a fire that engulfed a nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, while over 150 others were injured.
