AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has awarded former British Prime Minister Tony Blair the medal “With Trust in God, Homeland and State.”
This act is in recognition of Blair’s contribution to stopping genocide, liberating Kosovo, and defending the Albanians’ right to independence.
Haradinaj stated that Blair’s contribution to the freedom of the people of Kosovo is just one dimension of his extraordinary European and global leadership, which has now entered the chapters of British, Albanian, and world history.
“The people of Kosovo are forever grateful for the support and commitment of Prime Minister Tony Blair in realizing the centuries-long dream of freedom and independence,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
