The Deputy Minister for Return and Communities in the Government of Kosovo, Radoica Radomirovic, said that there was an attempt to kill the member of Nenad Rasic’s party, Marko Jablanovic in Leposavic. According to him, the assassin’s weapon had failed.
The case has been confirmed by the deputy director of the Kosovo Police in the north, Veton Elshani, saying that investigations are underway.
“After midnight today, a case of attempted murder is suspected to have occurred in Soqanicë, Leposaviq Municipality. No one was injured or arrested. The police are investigating the case,” Elshani told KOHEN.
Deputy Minister Radomirovic added that Milan Radoicic, known as the leader of the attack in Banjska, is also involved in the case.
“The tragic event did not happen because the attacker’s Scorpion type weapon failed. There is no doubt that the Belgrade regime and Radoicic and the local cowboys, Slavko Simic and Zoran Todic are behind the assassination… It is widely known that Marko and I supported Aleksandar Jabllanovic to bring the necessary changes to Leposavic. After Jabllanović agreed in Belgrade with Aleksandar Vulin, Vučić and BIA member Dimić, that for a little money and privileges he would withdraw as a candidate for mayor of Leposavic Municipality, Marko and Navili tried to regain the necessary dignity and they took their lives in their hands”, he wrote on Facebook.
