The horrific crimes committed by Serbian forces against Albanians during the 1999 war continue to be uncovered even today.
This is because mass graves containing Albanian civilians are still being discovered.
For these crimes, the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, who himself was part of Serbia’s leadership at the time under Slobodan Milošević, has not only failed to apologies, but continues to deny them.
It even goes so far as to commit further crimes, even against Serbs themselves, so that the fate of the victims may never be discovered.
The latest case was the arrest of Kosovo Serb R.T., who is suspected of providing information about the massacre in northern Kosovo, where Albanian civilians were robbed, killed and buried.
There was also another witness besides R.T.
He was killed by Serbs just two days after giving his testimony in 2003, according to Halit Barani of the Council for the Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms.
