The special SOF unit of the Ukrainian army has destroyed the Russian Kasta-2E2 mobile radar.

SOF operatives have discovered the location of the Russian Kasta-2E2 during an aerial drone surveillance of the battlefield.

The SOF announced that this Russian radar is considered a “masterpiece” of the Kremlin, whose mission is to determine coordinates and identify targets from the air – including low-flying ones.

The Kasta radar was first seen on Russian territory in 2021 in the occupied Luhansk region.

At that time, the Russians had received equipment to carry out counterattacks against drones, writes Telegrafi.

However, this radar became the target of a drone attack by the Ukrainians.
