The euro dropped to its lowest level since November 2022 following the new U.S. tariffs.
Donald Trump imposed tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China.
Tariffs on the EU are planned, while the United Kingdom is currently exempt.
The trade conflict is causing uncertainty and weakening the euro exchange rate.
The euro fell to 1.0141 dollars during the night on Monday, the lowest level since November 2022.
Trump stated that he intends to impose import tariffs on products from the European Union in the near future.
“I don’t have a schedule, but it will be very soon,” Trump said.
