Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan signed a landmark defense agreement on Friday, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry announced, deepening military cooperation among the three regional powers amid growing security concerns.
The agreement was signed during a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Saudi Arabia.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, the agreement is designed to strengthen collective deterrence against any act of aggression and states that an armed attack against one of the three countries will be considered an attack against all.
The pact also provides for expanded cooperation across all areas of defense, including closer military coordination and broader security collaboration among the three nations.
