FIFA has announced the nominees for the annual “The Best FIFA Football Awards.”
Among the nominees are two Albanians, as reported by Gazeta Express.
Elena Sadiku, coach of Celtic, has been nominated for FIFA’s Coach of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka has been nominated for the Best XI in the midfield position.
Additionally, the nominees for The Best Player of the Year have been revealed, including names like Lionel Messi, Rodri, Vinicius Junior, Dani Carvajal, Haaland, Valverde, Wirtz, Bellingham, Mbappé, Yamal, and Kroos.
For the Best Coach of the Year category, the nominees include: Ancelotti, Scaloni, de la Fuente, Guardiola, and Xabi Alonso.
As for Goalkeeper of the Year, the nominees are: Lunin, Raya, Ederson, Martinez, Donnarumma, Maignan, and Unai Simón.
