Air defense systems shot down 21 out of 59 drones launched by Russia towards targets in Ukraine on November 14, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The remaining 38 drones were neutralized automatically after their navigation systems were disrupted by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
Separately, Russian shelling killed two people and injured eight others in the village of Shevchenko in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, Ukrainian authorities said.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian drones on the morning of November 14. One drone was downed over the Kursk region and the other over Belgorod.
Russia began its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Since August of this year, Ukraine has also been conducting an offensive in the Russian region of Kursk. /REL/
