Speaking to the Chinese national news agency Xinhua and the Chinese daily newspaper Guangming, the former director of the Security Information Agency (BIA) and founder of the Socialist Movement, Aleksandar Vulin, emphasized that without a successful and upright China, there can be no free world.
China has proven that it is possible to be economically successful while still being socially humane, and that socialism is in no way inferior to capitalism when it is led in the right and appropriate manner. Xi Jinping has become a global leader. Without a successful and upright China, there can be no free world. China is a great power and perhaps the first power in human history that has prioritized its economy over its military, which distinguishes China from all others. Serbia holds immense respect for the People’s Republic of China, not because of its size, but because of the greatness of the people who lead it – Aleksandar Vulin highlighted.
Explaining the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Aleksandar Vulin said that NATO lied to Serbia about respecting Resolution 1244, just as it lied to China about accidentally bombing the embassy in Belgrade. Vulin emphasized that NATO supports separatists in Kosovo, just as the USA supports separatists in Taiwan, an integral part of China.

Only the respect of international law, only a return to the UN framework, gives hope that we will experience peace in our generation. In 1999, when Serbia was bombed, international law was killed. They wanted to kill Serbia in 1999, but actually, they killed international law; we survived, but international law did not. International law must be re-established and the agreement of the great powers, when that happens, when principles are re-established, we can hope for peace – Aleksandar Vulin conveyed.
Vulin also stated that BRICS is a real alternative to the European Union and that BRICS is the economic hope of humanity.
- BRICS has become a real alternative to the European Union. The EU has shown that it is not a union of states but a union of territories completely controlled by the United States. I do not believe the EU wants Serbia; I do not believe they want an equal Serbia; they want a market and to control this space. BRICS is where the economic hope of humanity lies. In BRICS, there are countries that do not demand Serbia to be obedient, to be a slave. BRICS means Serbia among friends – said Aleksandar Vulin.
Aleksandar Vulin emphasized that the Serbian-Chinese friendship is ironclad and that during each visit to China, he had the opportunity to see how much China respects Serbia.
- I was in China as the Minister of Defense, as the Minister of the Interior, and then as the head of BIA. During my tenure as Minister of Defense, the purchase of Chinese weaponry was agreed upon, making us the first European country to arm itself from the People’s Republic of China. During my tenure as Minister of the Interior, an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses between the citizens of Serbia and China was signed. I was impressed by how security is organized in cities the size of Beijing and Shanghai. We talked a lot and helped each other when it came to technology exchange, but also when it came to fighting against color revolutions. As the head of BIA, I had the honor of talking to all heads of Chinese services and to see with how much precision the security of China is maintained, but also with how much respect they speak of Serbia and BIA – conveyed the former director of BIA and founder of the Socialist Movement, Aleksandar Vulin, in an interview for the Chinese state agency Xinhua and the state daily newspaper Guangming.
