Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed confidence that the United States can pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin into accepting an unconditional ceasefire.
“We believe that America will be strong enough to make Putin agree to an unconditional ceasefire,” Zelensky stated, as reported by Sky News.
This statement follows Moscow’s recent demands for conditions regarding the cessation of Black Sea attacks, which were brokered by Washington.
Zelensky also emphasized the importance of continued international pressure on Russia, urging allied nations to maintain their stance against Moscow.
