Yesterday, the Basic Court in Pristina delivered its verdict in the Banjska attack case, sentencing Blagoje Spasojević and Vladimir Tolić to life imprisonment, while Dušan Maksimović was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Following the decision, British MP Alicia Kearns reacted by calling for justice to extend to the “main leaders” behind the terrorist attack.

In a post on the platform “X,” Kearns stated that the key figures are in Belgrade, within the Serbian government.

“Now, please, the main leaders. You will find them within the Government of Serbia, and others who are hiding and being protected by the Government of Serbia.”

Kearns shared a report from “BBC News (World)” covering the sentences related to the Banjska case, accompanying it with a call for accountability to be expanded to include high-level organizers.

The Banjska case, which has sparked numerous international reactions, remains one of the most serious security incidents in northern Kosovo in recent years.
