EU Acting Chief in Kosovo Expresses Solidarity with Families of the Missing

The Acting Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova, has expressed solidarity with families whose loved ones remain missing since the war.

In a statement shared by the EU Office in Kosovo, it was emphasized that transitional justice efforts will continue to support the process of clarifying the fate of 1,581 missing persons, with the aim of bringing a sense of closure and peace to their families.

“Transitional justice is the right to know the truth,” the statement read.

The EU reiterated its commitment to supporting initiatives that address the issue of missing persons and contribute to reconciliation and justice processes in Kosovo.
