The Assembly of Kosovo will hold an extraordinary session at 17:00 following a request by deputies from the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) to discuss the election of the country’s president.
Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, has invited lawmakers to convene in the main parliamentary hall for the session.
The request was submitted by the head of the LVV parliamentary group, Arbërie Nagavci, on behalf of several deputies from the party.
In their justification, LVV lawmakers emphasized the constitutional obligation of the Assembly to elect the President of Kosovo, calling for an extraordinary session to address the issue.
The session is expected to focus on discussions surrounding the presidential election, as political parties continue to struggle to reach a consensus on a candidate.
