The KFOR has announced that U.S. soldiers have conducted maintenance and inspections of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters at Camp Camp Bondsteel.

Official post:

Soldiers assigned to Regional Command-East (RC-E), part of the NATO-led Kosovo Force mission (KFOR), regularly carry out maintenance and inspections of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters at Camp Bondsteel to ensure the readiness of air assets.

These activities help maintain KFOR’s capability to respond to emergencies across the region, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999) to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all residents of Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders.
