The Kosovo Police have initiated a case of document forgery after suspected falsified documents were discovered during a routine inspection at the Jarinje border crossing.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Wednesday when officers stopped a vehicle with Serbian license plates carrying two male Serbian citizens.
During the search of the vehicle, police officers found several documents suspected of being forged. The documents were immediately seized for further forensic examination.
Following instructions from the prosecutor, both individuals were interviewed in the capacity of witnesses. After the necessary procedures and the initiation of the case, they were released under regular procedure, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.
