The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a measure aimed at preventing President Donald Trump from taking further military action against Iran.

The vote passed narrowly with a 215–208 result, as four Republican lawmakers joined Democrats in a rare public break over opposition to the ongoing conflict, which began in February.

This marks the fourth attempt by the House to limit Trump’s war powers. Critics argue that the military campaign has proceeded without proper authorization from Congress and therefore lacks a clear legal mandate.
