Maqedonci in Brussels: Kosovo Deepens Defense Cooperation with NATO and International Allies

Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci participated in the 35th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, held at NATO headquarters in Brussels, where defense leaders discussed the latest security developments and the ongoing situation in Ukraine.

The meeting brought together around 50 defense ministers from NATO member states and partner countries. Participants reaffirmed their support for Ukraine’s efforts to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against continued aggression.

During his visit to Brussels, Maqedonci also held meetings with NATO officials and defense counterparts from several countries. Discussions focused on strengthening defense cooperation, enhancing military partnerships, and addressing current regional and global security challenges.

According to the official statement, Kosovo reaffirmed its commitment to standing alongside its international allies and partners in supporting peace, stability, and security worldwide.

The participation of Kosovo’s defense leadership in high-level NATO-related meetings reflects the country’s growing role in international security cooperation and its continued efforts to deepen ties with the Alliance and democratic partner nations.
