Kosovo’s Chief Negotiator for European Union accession, Jeton Zulfaj, held a regular meeting with the Acting Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatová, to discuss key priorities in the country’s European integration process.
According to Zulfaj, the meeting focused on several shared priorities within Kosovo’s EU accession agenda, including the Reform and Growth Facility, projects financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), and current political and institutional developments.
“We discussed our shared priorities in Kosovo’s EU accession process, including the Reform and Growth Facility, IPA projects and current developments,” Zulfaj said in a social media post following the meeting.
The discussions were part of the ongoing coordination between Kosovo’s institutions and the European Union Office aimed at advancing reforms and implementing programs that support the country’s path toward EU membership.
The Reform and Growth Facility and IPA funding are among the European Union’s key financial instruments designed to assist candidate and aspiring candidate countries in implementing reforms, strengthening institutions and accelerating alignment with EU standards.
