Russian President Vladimir Putin said that even though his country has “much more” nuclear bombs than the US and Europe, discussions about such a war are not necessary.
“There is no need to think about it (nuclear war). And I would ask anyone not to mention anything like that,” he said at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
The leader of Russia added that the forces of his country are “increasing their effectiveness”, reports CNN.
“The Russian defense industry has increased the production of missiles by 20%, and its forces are surpassing the capabilities of our enemies when it comes to aircraft and tanks,” Putin said.
