The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship has once again published the maximum permitted fuel prices for today and tomorrow.
According to the announcement, the price of diesel is €1.79 per litre, gasoline is €1.53 per litre, while LPG is €0.62 per litre.
The price of diesel was also €1.79 per litre yesterday. Recent reporting confirms that diesel remains at €1.79 per litre, while fuel prices in Kosovo have been affected by the wider volatility in international energy markets.
Despite the gradual decline in diesel prices several days ago—from €1.91 per litre following the conflict that began on February 28 in the Middle East—prices have once again increased in Kosovo.
The conflict began with U.S. and Israeli strikes across Iran on February 28, prompting Iran to launch attacks against Israel and U.S.-allied states in the Persian Gulf, while effectively closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key global shipping route for oil and liquefied natural gas.
