Kosovo’s boxer Donjeta Sadiku has reached the final of the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games after a commanding semifinal victory over Greece’s Sofia Legaki.
Competing in the women’s 60kg category, Sadiku controlled the bout from the opening bell and twice sent her Greek opponent to the referee’s count once in the first round and again in the second.
The victory sends Sadiku through to tomorrow’s final, where she will face Kristina Kuluhova, who also won her semifinal.
Kuluhova represents Serbia but is originally from Russia, setting up an intriguing final between the Kosovo and Serbia representatives.
