Members of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) have taken part in a “force-on-force” combat training exercise alongside soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, as part of the international military exercise “Saber Junction 26.”
The training was conducted at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany, at a U.S. military base hosting the multinational exercise.
Kosovo’s acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, announced the FSK’s participation and shared photographs from the exercise.
“Saber Junction 26” brings together military forces from allied and partner countries to strengthen combat readiness, interoperability and operational capabilities through multinational training.
The participation of the FSK in the exercise represents another step in Kosovo’s efforts to deepen military cooperation with the United States and NATO member states and further develop the force’s operational capabilities.
