Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has called another press conference just hours before the deadline for the election of the country’s president.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the press conference will begin at 7:45 p.m.
It will be Kurti’s second press conference of the day, following an earlier appearance on Tuesday.
Opposition political parties have accused Kurti of deliberately creating scenarios that could lead Kosovo back to early elections. Kurti, for his part, said earlier in the day that electing a president is a priority for the country.
He also pledged that, once the presidential process is completed, the Assembly would proceed with the second reading of the law concerning the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.
The renewed press conference comes as political parties remain engaged in discussions over the presidential election and the proposed amendments to the Specialist Chambers law.
