Kosovo Police have continued investigating a suspected fraud case in Prishtina after searching a suspect’s home and seizing several SIM cards believed to have been used in the alleged offense.
According to the police report, officers searched the home of a third male suspect, a Kosovo citizen, on January 9, 2026, at around 12:30 p.m., under a court order.
During the search, police discovered and confiscated several SIM cards suspected of having been used to carry out the alleged fraud.
The suspect was taken to a police station for questioning in connection with the case. Following the interview and consultation with the prosecutor, he was released, while the case will proceed through the regular legal process.
Police have not released further details about the suspected fraud or the evidence collected. The investigation remains ongoing.
