The new KFOR commander in Kosovo, General Enrico Barduani, visited Serbia on Wednesday, where he met with the head of the Serbian forces, Milan Mojsilovic, and other members of the Serbian armed forces in Belgrade.
During the meeting, the KFOR commander made it clear to the Serbian general the importance of regular communication to ensure that information is exchanged promptly.
They discussed perspectives on regional security and ongoing activities between KFOR and the Serbian Armed Forces. Major General Barduani emphasized the significance of regular communication aimed at ensuring timely information exchange and maintaining stability throughout the region.
The KFOR commander also reaffirmed KFOR’s commitment to contributing to sustainable security for all people and communities living in Kosovo, in line with KFOR’s longstanding UN mandate. He reiterated that unity of efforts, coordination, transparency, and impartiality will remain the driving principles of KFOR’s daily efforts in support of regional stability.
