The Kosovo Police announced today that a Turkish national was arrested in Pristina on an international arrest warrant issued by Turkey for serious financial fraud crimes. The arrest was made by the Kosovo Police’s FAST unit, under the Directorate for International Police Cooperation.

According to the police statement, the suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was apprehended on December 9, 2024, at around 3:00 PM. He is wanted in Turkey for committing serious financial fraud.

Following the arrest, the individual was placed in police custody for 48 hours, pending further legal procedures. The arrest was carried out in coordination with Turkish authorities under the international arrest warrant.
