Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, during a joint press conference with Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti, spoke about the recent events and incidents in northern Kosovo, expressing Croatia’s deep concern and stating that a thorough analysis of the situation would be carried out by the Croatian government, as reported by RKS NEWS.
Plenković emphasized that Croatia believes in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which should lead to the normalization of relations between the two countries and, ultimately, to mutual recognition.
“I have mentioned that this incident is not new, as there have been at least three attacks. As far as Croatia is concerned, these incidents will be thoroughly analyzed and have been met with great concern. We believe in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue that should result in the normalization of relations and ultimately lead to mutual recognition. It should also help Kosovo take its rightful path toward EU membership. The process may not be swift due to the five countries that still do not recognize Kosovo,” said Plenković.
